The RELX Cares Month 2024 kicked off with a vibrant and colorful 5K Fun Run in Iloilo, where employees, their families, and friends united to raise funds for the Friends of Cancer Kids Iloilo Foundation Inc. The infectious energy and camaraderie among the participants created a memorable experience, setting the tone for the month-long celebration of giving back.
In Manila, the RELX Run Club organized a 5K Fun Run to support the Kapatid Kita Mahal Kita (KKMK) Foundation scholars. Employees and their loved ones came together to promote physical activity while contributing to a noble cause. The event not only fostered a sense of community but also demonstrated the company’s commitment to supporting educational initiatives.
RELX Cares also extended its reach to the furry friends at the Pawssion Project – Bulacan Shelter. Volunteers and participants from the Sales Team dedicated their time and resources to provide essential care and attention to the animals residing at the shelter. The overwhelming generosity of the participants raised vital funds, ensuring the shelter’s operations and the well-being of the animals.
The Elevating Lives through Service (ELS) Team from Editorial Operations took their efforts to the MANAHAI Covered Court in Payatas, where they organized an inspiring initiative for 47 children. Through educational activities and the provision of essential supplies, the team aimed to empower and inspire these young minds, fostering a sense of hope and self-belief.
In Iloilo, the LNUK Team of Editorial Operations division organized a donation drive for kindergarten students at Igpajo Elementary School. Employees from Manila and Iloilo contributed umbrellas, slippers, school supplies, and toys, ensuring the young learners could navigate the wet weather with ease and creating cherished memories filled with joy and excitement.
